  • Shifts:
    • 1st Shift Hours: Monday – Friday 7:00am – 3:30pm
    • 2nd Shift Hours: Monday – Thursday 3:00pm-1:00am

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in manufacturing, mechanical, industrial, or electrical engineering (preferred).
  • 3‐5 years manufacturing experience required.
  • Knowledge of machining, assembly, tools, and fixturing.
  • Proficiency of CAM / CAD software.
  • Knowledge of CNC programming.
  • Demonstrate ability to implement change in a way that positively impacts overall departments and company performance.
  • Ability to multi‐task, prioritize and manage time effectively.
  • Strong listening and problem‐solving skills.
  • Excel at working in team environment with high level of interpersonal skills and demonstrated ability to cross functionally drive results.
  • Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel.
  • Ability to lift 50 pounds throughout the day.
  • Good verbal and written communication skills.

Primary Objectives:

  • Ongoing recommendations, support, and implementation of plans for improved safety, quality, delivery, and cost.
  • Assist in improving manufacturing processes by utilizing continuous improvement tools and methodologies.
  • Facilitate seamless transition from new design to repeatable production.
  • Focused on the development and improvement of manufacturing standards.
  • Support existing designs and acting as a liaison between manufacturing and engineering.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop, evaluate, and improve manufacturing methods utilizing knowledge of product design, materials, manufacturing, tooling, and quality control standards.
  • Troubleshoot manufacturing problems and related tooling, equipment, or process issues.
  • Develop new tooling, gauging, and fixtures.
  • Change management / ECR’s.
  • Identify, implement, and track cost savings ideas.
  • Assist in setup reduction initiative.
  • Recommend, support, and implement improvements, modifications, or additions that will improve work processes.
  • Improve manufacturing efficiency by analyzing and planning workflow, space requirements, and equipment layout.
  • Contribute to the definition of, development, and implementation of lean manufacturing initiatives.
  • Support CAM and programming development and implementation.
  • Work with engineering and manufacturing personnel for design for manufacturability.
  • Understanding of current state of material and tooling methodologies and continuously improve.
